This department has a range of simple-to-use Portable Appliance Testers for carrying out the testing yourself. They simply say PASS or FAIL when a test is carried out. You do not need to be an electrician to carry out PAT testing as long as you use a simple PASS/FAIL tester. If you would like to discuss your requirements, all of our staff are fully trained in PAT testing, and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

BattPAT Portable Appliance tester is a very easy to use battery powered PAT tester which has been designed and manufactured by First Stop Safety. It simply says PASS or FAIL when a test is done. This tester uses built-in rechargeable batteries and is supplied with a charger. The BattPAT is safe for testing IT equipment and comes with short IEC lead and a selection of labels.
