PAT Testing - Half-day PAT Course
In light of the current situation with the Covid-19 virus and the possible risk of infection, First Stop Safety has cancelled all its face-to-face training courses. We will reinstate courses as soon as possible. As an alternative, we offer online training.
Our half day PAT Testing course is aimed at people who have no previous experience. This is because you do not have to be a qualified electrician to carry out in-house PAT Testing. This can result in substantial cost savings, as well as flexibility in when testing is carried out.
After attending our course our customers can save anything from £500 to £2000 by carrying out all the testing themselves. The BattPAT tester that is demonstrated during the course is so simple to use that even someone new to this area can be using it within a few minutes of being shown how it works.
This is a practical based course, where a variety of appliances are available for Formal Visual Inspection and Testing using one of our BattPAT's. If you already have a portable appliance tester and would like a member of staff advised on how to use it, please arrange for it to be brought to the venue and we will provide additional training on its use. With a maximum of 8 delegates per trainer, candidates will receive plenty of individual attention to ensure all their questions are answered.
All course delegates will receive a voucher for £20 off the cost of our popular tester packages and a £10 Annual PAT tester calibration discount voucher.
Using the voucher all delegates can buy a BattPAT tester for just £179, a MemoryPAT tester for just £259 or the NEW Bluetooth enabled MemoryPAT-Blu tester for only £313. Prices exclude vat. You also receive a voucher for £10 off any PAT tester calibration.
All delegates will receive comprehensive course notes and master copies of useful record sheets.
There is an optional multiple choice assessment at the end of the course. Everyone obtaining a PASS mark in this will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement in PAT Testing. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the course content, or check the FAQs.
