COURSE DURATION: 9 am – 11.30 am approximately


This face to face tutor led PAT Course allows someone new to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) learn how to safely and competently undertake PAT testing ‘in house’ or in a Charity Shop selling donated electrical goods. The Course also includes forms and other documentation for planning and implementing a PAT scheme in the workplace, and a helpful practical session assisted by the Trainer is also included. No previous experience is required. One online Test with Certification is included in the price. After attending the Course delegates will each receive an email containing a unique User Name and Password, and instructions to access the First Stop Safety online Test with Certification. The Test consists of 30 multiple choice questions and upon successful completion the Certificate is emailed to the email address the delegate entered at the beginning of the Test.

Measures are in place to protect the health and safety of our delegates and staff and to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. These include temperature checks upon arrival, verbal confirmation of double vaccination status or a negative LFT (lateral flow test), extra ventilation, use of hand sanitizers and a reconfigured classroom space allowing plenty of social distancing. To assist further we ask delegates to bring their own hot drinks if desired, although water will be freely available for the duration of the Course. Delegates experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 must NOT attend the Course.
