Why PAT Tester Calibration Matters
Your PAT tester is a precision instrument, and a faulty one could pass an appliance that isn't actually safe.
To prevent this, we recommend calibrating your PAT tester or microwave checker annually, in line with the IET's PAT Testing Code of Practice, which states that:
"A test instrument's accuracy should be verified and recorded annually or in line with the manufacturer's instructions."
If you own a BattPAT or Microwave Checker, annual calibration also keeps your Lifetime Warranty valid, so any repairs are carried out free of charge.

If you're near our York premises, you can drop off and collect your tester in person by prior arrangement, saving on courier fees entirely. Call 01904 791050 or email to arrange.
Need your PAT Tester back the same day?
By prior arrangement, we offer same-day calibration. Deliver your tester to us by 9:30 am, and it'll be ready for collection after 3:30 pm the same day.
This service is available by phone or email only, and may not be possible if your tester needs a repair.
