The Lifetime Warranty requires that the PAT Tester or Microwave Checker is calibrated each year by First Stop Safety.
By registering you agree to us contacting you to arrange this annual calibration.

What You're Registering For
At First Stop Safety, we manufacture our products to a high standard and back them with a Lifetime Warranty.If your tester develops a fault, you simply return the unit, and we repair it free of charge- no repeated warranty periods to track, no expiry date to worry about- as long as the conditions below are met.

Calibration Keeps Your Warranty Valid
Your PAT tester is a precision instrument, and a faulty one could pass an appliance that isn't actually safe.
To keep your Lifetime Warranty valid, your unit needs to come back to us for calibration annually.
If calibration is ever allowed to lapse, the Lifetime Warranty is invalidated.
Lifetime Warranty Terms
What's covered
Free repair of your PAT tester if it develops a fault, provided your warranty has been maintained and your account is up to date.
If your unit can't be repaired, we'll replace it with a fully refurbished, calibrated model of equal or higher specification.
What's not covered
Water damage (soaking or submersion in any fluid).
Physical damage beyond fair wear and tear, for example, mains power applied to the testing socket or IEC socket.
Repair costs if the unit hasn't been returned for annual calibration.
The Lifetime Warranty also applies to pre-owned First Stop Safety testers bought from a third party, provided:
- The tester's calibration is current
- Calibration has never been allowed to lapse throughout the unit's life
- The tester is in reasonable condition for its age, fair wear and tear only
