The IT100 (Insta Test 100) is the newest portable handheld PAT testing unit designed by First Stop Safety. It has been designed to carry out electrical safety tests on an array of electrical appliances to confirm whether specific appliances are safe to be used. The IT100 can perform tests on 3 main types of appliances, including: 
 
Class I - Appliances with an Earth connection
Class II - Appliances that are double insulated (no earth connection)
Power Cord - Testing for IEC cables, extension leads, and multiway adaptors
 
The IT100 has been designed to deliver precise and accurate readings to ensure your appliances are safe and compliant for use.
 
The device itself carries out four basic tests. Please note that not all tests are appropriate for all types of appliances.
The tests include:
 
1. Earth Continuity
2. Insulation Resistance
3. Substitute Earth Leakage
4. Polarity Test
 
Softshell Case
Included with your IT100, you also receive a softshell case, capable of conveniently carrying your IT100, FirstPrint thermal printer as well as any forms and documentation for when you you are PAT testing a wide variety of applainces.
 
Calibration
We recommend that the IT100 be calibrated each year to ensure that everything in the PAT testing unit is working and the results are accurate during tests.
